[09:11:45]<mstenta[m]>FYI I released 2.0.0-rc1 yesterday
[09:12:03]<mstenta[m]>This PR for Drupal 9.5.x is now ready for review as well: https://github.com/farmOS/farmOS/pull/621
[09:12:43]<mstenta[m]>just needed a core patch to be updated, tests are passing
[12:00:47]<mstenta[m]>rc = "release candidate"
[12:00:57]* botlfarm[m] has joined #farmos
[12:00:57]<mstenta[m]>still pre-stable... but yea i consider it stable :-)
[12:00:57]<botlfarm[m]>mstenta: Is this considered a stable release? I don't understand the rc designation.
[12:01:27]<botlfarm[m]>cool, thanks!
[12:01:27]<mstenta[m]>we're aiming for 2.0.0 release on jan 1
[12:01:41]<mstenta[m]>so we'll probably just fix a few more bugs between now and then
[12:16:07]<symbioquine[m]>Anybody else getting timeouts from the forum?
[12:16:47]<mstenta[m]>hmm yea seems to be hanging for me
[12:16:57]<mstenta[m]>maybe it's being upgraded or something
[15:05:04]<mstenta[m]>Another PR for review: https://github.com/farmOS/farmOS/pull/622
[15:47:56]<symbioquine[m]>> I think both of these are ready for review too:
[15:47:57]<symbioquine[m]>> https://github.com/farmOS/farmOS/pull/568
[15:47:57]<symbioquine[m]>> https://github.com/farmOS/farmOS/pull/577
[15:47:57]<symbioquine[m]>I think these need to be rebased...
[15:48:43]<mstenta[m]>Yes that's true, each only has one relevant commit
[16:06:39]<mstenta[m]>Rebased both
[16:16:33]<symbioquine[m]>Left two questions on the location one which I think are relevant to both PRs.
[16:28:57]<paul121[m]>I worry the CSV change could affect other things using that module
[17:32:42]<mstenta[m]>Yea. I'm not 100% happy with the CSV PR. It was an easy thing to try so I figured I'd open a PR to start the conversation at least.
[17:34:10]<mstenta[m]>I think the ideal solution would target only the quantity field.
[17:34:38]<mstenta[m]>I'm not sure what that solution is though.
[17:35:31]<mstenta[m]>(Without adding undue complexity)
[17:39:09]<paul121[m]>Yeah. I think that approach is fine in the meantime though! Just isolating that newline behavior to a separate encoder
[17:41:48]<paul121[m]>I imagine we will need a farm_csv module in the future... iirc views seemed limiting for some of the edge cases?
