[07:38:42]<mstenta[m]>Its a placeholder for report modules that have yet to be built

[07:43:22]<Mims[m]>C:\xampp\htdocs\FarmOs>composer create-project farmos/project... (full message at <https://libera.ems.host/_matrix/media/v3/download/libera.chat/c7cfd0ead0...)

[07:53:41]<wotnak[m]>farmos/project has only one release 2.x-dev with dev stability, composer by default tries to install only releases with stable stability status, you can work around that by explicitly providing the version you want to install composer create-project farmos/project:2.x-dev
[08:05:40]<Mims[m]>wotnak: when i use this command composer create-project farmos/project:2.x-dev i still get so many errors
[08:07:00]<Mims[m]>ACTION uploaded an image: (47KiB) < https://libera.ems.host/_matrix/media/v3/download/matrix.org/UzpPpIcJkKm... >
[08:10:38]<wotnak[m]>hmm, it looks that composer can't find packages hosted on drupal.org (drupal/x), check if in composer.json you have packages.drupal.org/8 repository defined, after creating the project using farmos/project your composer.json file should look like the one here https://github.com/farmOS/composer-project/blob/2.x/composer.json
[08:16:44]<Mims[m]>do i need to create a drupal project and install farmos in it ?
[08:16:50]<Mims[m]>or is not needed?
[08:17:52]<FarmerEd[m]>Not needed, farmOS is a Drupal distribution
[08:18:30]<FarmerEd[m]>Simplest install is the Docker images.
[08:18:55]<Mims[m]>okay let me try pulling the docker image
[08:46:04]<Mims[m]>so I've installed the docker image , but is there a way to assign a port ?
[09:18:04]<mstenta[m]>Mims: This describes two ways to do it: https://farmos.org/hosting/install/#farmos-in-docker
[09:18:18]<mstenta[m]>Using docker-compose.yml might be easiest
[09:18:32]<mstenta[m]>You'll need to figure out the database, but you can run that in Docker too if you want
