[19:50:57]<symbioquine[m]>> <@paul121:matrix.org> hey symbioquine I just realized we never patched this simple_oauth issue in farmOS: https://www.drupal.org/project/simple_oauth/issues/3193609
[19:50:57]<symbioquine[m]>>
[19:50:57]<symbioquine[m]>> curious if it might cause problems for any of the OAuth integrations you have done? (were those 1.x or 2.x?)
[19:50:57]<symbioquine[m]>I've done both. Probably makes sense to proceed and I'll follow up if it breaks anything on my end :)
[19:52:03]<symbioquine[m]>I mean to say, I've done OAuth integrations with both.
[20:10:19]<paul121[m]>Cool!

[10:11:35]<symbioquine[m]>I just took a closer look at this and it seems pretty safe, hard to imagine it breaking much on my end anyway :)
[10:14:02]<symbioquine[m]>I guess somebody might have retry or UX logic that could be thrown off by the change to the HTTP status code and/or response body...
[10:16:35]<symbioquine[m]>Sad that clients like FieldKit won't be able to be quite as informative about why logging in is failing though. i.e. FieldKit can't tell the difference between a bad password and a bad OAuth2 server-side configuration problem. I guess some part of the threat model requires that to be opaque.
[10:45:40]<ludwa6[m]>g'dayall: was there a chat transcript generated from last Wednesday's all call?
[10:47:27]<ludwa6[m]>i joined that call late, missed the intros, and there was a presentation up front from a coupla folks, i didn't really get. it
[11:27:58]<mstenta[m]>Hi ludwa6 - I have the transcript... I'll try sharing it here
[11:28:08]<mstenta[m]>Oh but wait... sorry... it's not actually a transcreipt
[11:28:17]<mstenta[m]>It's just the chat log
[11:28:33]<mstenta[m]>So maybe it's not all that useful - want it anyway?
[11:29:16]<mstenta[m]>ACTION posted a file: (8KiB) < https://libera.ems.host/_matrix/media/r0/download/matrix.org/CpXLAIIiaIZ... >
[11:29:16]<ludwa6[m]>sure. and if it's not there, maybe you can tell me: that guy & gal who presented something at start of call -what was that about? got a link to their offering?
[11:29:31]<mstenta[m]>oh yea that was David and Marci from Qualpay
[11:29:44]<mstenta[m]>David had reached out to me via email about integration ideas so I referred him to the monthly call :-)
[11:30:33]<ludwa6[m]>ACTION googles qualpay
[11:31:23]<ludwa6[m]>is something like stripe?
[11:32:39]<mstenta[m]>Yea that's my understading
[11:34:11]<mstenta[m]>The summary of the convo on the call was basically: farmOS doesn't handle payments at all (yet), but that folks have talked about the idea. paul121 asked if they have a Drupal Commerce integration, because that might be the most likely point of contact for doing something directly in the future. Otherwise they might want to talk to Open Food Network or other groups/services that currently handle payments already.
[11:37:12]<ludwa6[m]>mstenta[m]: good to know thanks. speaking of OFN: it looks like we're gonna get a OFN-PT hub up and running soon. I have a conference call tomorrow with the guy that's leading these new country initiatives... And that's one thing i gotta find out about. We've got a Wordpress site with WooCommerce integrated, but... Do we stop using that and starting using OFN's commerce facility, i wonder?
[11:37:37]<mstenta[m]>Wow!
[11:39:24]<ludwa6[m]>cool thing is, i see that OFN supports Wordpress : Divi theme for members "About" pages: https://ofn-user-guide.gitbook.io/ofn-super-admin-guide/setting-up-your-...
[11:39:53]<ludwa6[m]>and that is exactly what my farm's website is built using WP/Divi : https://www.valedalama.net
[11:40:06]<mstenta[m]>oh nice! that's convenient!
[11:40:14]<mstenta[m]>(and looks great!)
[11:40:43]<ludwa6[m]>Yeah: for that superficial level of "integration", should be easy. But the commerce stuff gets a bit messier, i am sure.
[11:41:02]<mstenta[m]>ps: i showed my wife your site a few weeks ago and now she wants to visit :-)
[11:41:28]<ludwa6[m]>You kids should come, for sure!
[11:41:38]<mstenta[m]>maybe once travel becomes easier for us and kids again :-)
[11:42:08]<ludwa6[m]>Yeah, 5hit: i hear uncle joe has issued a travel advisory that puts PT on the "stay away" list
[11:42:23]<mstenta[m]>maybe we'll visit @pcambra in Spain too - make a trip of it :-)
[11:42:33]<mstenta[m]>oh i didn't hear
[11:42:33]<ludwa6[m]>not an outright ban, but still... kinda sucks
[11:43:02]<mstenta[m]>well it will be some time before we're able to consider it anyway
[11:43:54]<ludwa6[m]>mstenta[m]: oh, well: keep us atop that list, as soon as you are feeling ready to travel. How many kids, how old?
[11:44:16]<mstenta[m]>will do!
[11:44:26]<mstenta[m]>2 kids: 5yo and 2yo
[11:44:34]<mstenta[m]>they've barely left the state haha
[11:44:55]<mstenta[m]>2yo had her 1st birthday right before lockdown in 3/2020
[11:45:17]<ludwa6[m]>ahh.. backyard adventure is all they need at this point, i remember well :-)
[11:45:18]<mstenta[m]>haha yup
[11:45:36]<mstenta[m]>looking forward to showing them the world in the future
[11:46:23]<ludwa6[m]>with all the farms you must have to visit, that promises to be a fine tour, i expect
[12:49:44]<symbioquine[m]>Was just looking at the 7.1-1.x farm_mushroom module compared with the 2.x farm_fungi module and noticing that the substrate field seems to be only present in the 1.x version...
[12:50:16]<symbioquine[m]>Is there a better way to model the substrate that already exists in 2.x?
[12:50:27]<symbioquine[m]>s/1/x/
[12:51:03]<symbioquine[m]>s/Was just looking at the 7.1-1.x farm_mushroom module compared with the 2.x farm_fungi module and noticing that the substrate field seems to be only present in the 1.x version.../Was just looking at the 7.x-1.x `farm_mushroom` module compared with the 2.x `farm_fungi` module and noticing that the substrate field seems to be only present in the 1.x version.../

[12:56:11]<mstenta[m]>> Figure out what to do with "Substrate type"
[12:57:06]<mstenta[m]>Maybe we should migrate them to material types?
[18:27:17]<SimonGoodall[m]>In 2.0.0 I'm trying to upload assets via kml, it is telling me "The file could not be uploaded". Any pointers to where I should look for the error messages to see what is wrong? I'm under docker with quite a standard production compose but I could easily shell into the container to look at files. Any help appreciated, thanks.
[18:36:10]<mstenta[m]>sgoodall @jsgoodall:matrix.org: it might be worth validating your kml as a first step
[18:38:23]<mstenta[m]>There are some free web sites that will do that
[18:38:52]<mstenta[m]>Often times this happens when there is someone wrong with the KML for whatever reason
[18:39:08]<mstenta[m]>(this has come up before)
[18:50:35]<paul121[m]>for file uploads, also worth checking that you can upload files to an asset/log
[18:51:16]<paul121[m]>if the file system is not configured there should be a message in http://localhost/admin/reports/status as well
