[09:57:57]<skipper_is[m]>Has something happened to the sensor module recently?
[09:58:01]<skipper_is[m]>ACTION uploaded an image: image.png (25KiB) < https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/r0/download/matrix.org/URTAhNZhDjGWSbvS... >
[09:58:12]<skipper_is[m]>My weekly averages are now only showing a tiny bit of data...
[09:58:22]<skipper_is[m]>I thought it was the last 100 points?
[10:03:25]<mstenta[m]>Hey skipper_is - yes there was a change recently
[10:03:39]<mstenta[m]>Now it loads the last week of data by default
[10:03:54]<mstenta[m]>But there are also filters available above the graphs to change that
[10:04:09]<skipper_is[m]>Aah
[10:04:19]<mstenta[m]>(That said - I think we may want to consider making this a setting - so it's still possible to do the "X points" default)
[10:04:36]<mstenta[m]>cc paul121
[10:04:39]<skipper_is[m]>Can it save as default?
[10:05:06]<mstenta[m]>It doesn't save your selection right now, no :-/
[10:05:09]<skipper_is[m]>Ah oki
[10:05:28]<skipper_is[m]>For the weather station it works as weekly, but for weekly averages... not so much!
[10:05:58]<mstenta[m]>Ah are you making your own weekly averages and uploading that to a separate sensor?
[10:06:22]<skipper_is[m]>Yea, run a python script once a week that dumps the whole load and averages it before posting it to another sensor
[10:06:28]<skipper_is[m]>Also got a daily one
[10:06:29]<mstenta[m]>Oh neat idea
[10:06:56]<mstenta[m]>That might actually be a nice feature to have built into the graphing options
[10:06:57]<skipper_is[m]>Does max/minimum as well
[10:07:04]<mstenta[m]>(Wouldn't need a separate sensor/duplicate data)
[10:07:50]<mstenta[m]>paul121's been working on the new sensor module in farmOS 2.x - these are good ideas to note down :-)
[10:08:20]<skipper_is[m]>sensor data on the dashboard would be nie
[10:08:24]<skipper_is[m]>nice
[10:08:54]<mstenta[m]>we've had most of our focus on 2.x lately :-)
[10:09:07]<mstenta[m]>ah yea! paul121 also started a 2.x dashboard branch
[10:09:46]<mstenta[m]>keeping things simple to start... but once the bulk of 2.x is behind us and we're all using it i'm excited to explore future dashboard possibilities!
[10:10:08]<mstenta[m]>in the 7.x-1.x branch i've been really strictly avoiding adding new dependencies and complexity
[10:10:18]<mstenta[m]>but the way is clear on 2.x!
[10:10:36]<mstenta[m]>although i'm still going to be a stickler for keeping dependencies minimal ;-)
[10:10:49]<skipper_is[m]>Is the crop plan module still in developement for 7.x.1x?
[10:11:06]<mstenta[m]>it's ready to use!
[10:11:15]<mstenta[m]>https://github.com/mstenta/farm_crop_plan
[10:11:18]<skipper_is[m]>Ah I thought it was still in alpha with a warning saying do not use
[10:11:27]<mstenta[m]>haha sorry i haven't removed that warning
[10:11:31]<skipper_is[m]>Ah :)
[10:11:45]<mstenta[m]>Done.
[10:11:59]<mstenta[m]>I'm hoping that we can just merge it into 2.x so that it is part of farmOS 2.x core
[10:12:06]<skipper_is[m]>Ah sweet, I'll give it a spin!
[10:12:07]<skipper_is[m]>Nice one
[10:46:53]<paul121[m]>ah interesting skipper_is ! It would be really cool if you could drop in a dashboard pane to view sensor data *AND* specify the display + settings... what you described could be different "display" options for the same sensor data, perhaps
[10:48:01]<paul121[m]>the averaging might have some performance considerations to do that "real time" but maybe not if you only average a month of data at a time?
