| [10:18:04] | <slarmour[m]> | jgaehringand mstenta , I have been working with the Android version of the app. It does not seem to sync properly to my Farmier hosted FarmOS. I get a "500 error" "service unavailable" error message. According to the app I am logged in. Moreover a number of the activities I have added using the app are labelled as "synced" but don't appear to be. Let me know if you need more info on this. |
| [10:22:13] | <mstenta[m]> | slarmour: huh interesting |
| [10:23:07] | <mstenta[m]> | the fact that it says you're logged in indicates that it's at least PARTIALLY working |
| [10:36:58] | <slarmour[m]> | mstenta: actually, it looks like some activities have synced properly, but others have not. |
| [10:37:11] | <mstenta[m]> | oh weird |
| [10:37:29] | <mstenta[m]> | are there any major differences in the data in the logs? |
| [10:37:34] | <slarmour[m]> | I will logout and log back in and do some more testing |
| [10:37:48] | <mstenta[m]> | i wonder if you could try to narrow it down or replicate it consistently |
| [10:37:53] | <mstenta[m]> | ok |
| [10:38:02] | <slarmour[m]> | will do so. |
| [10:48:31] | <jgaehring[m]> | thanks for the feedback, slarmour ! |
| [10:49:17] | <jgaehring[m]> | interesting, a 500 error could be that the server is not accepting the data for some reason |
| [10:49:27] | <jgaehring[m]> | perhaps a formatting error |
| [10:49:31] | <slarmour[m]> | I'm going to write a small test script for this and will runt it by you two. It will hopefully make my testing a little more structures |
| [10:49:53] | <jgaehring[m]> | mstenta: couldn't have anything to do with your changes to field collections could it? |
| [10:50:03] | <jgaehring[m]> | that would be awesome! |
| [10:50:08] | <mstenta[m]> | nope - i haven't deployed any of that yet (or even committed it) |
| [10:50:36] | <mstenta[m]> | (FYI slarmour I'm working on some changes to the API structures to make them easier to use for the upcoming 1.0 release of farmOS) |
| [10:50:43] | <jgaehring[m]> | perhaps we could use your script to create a GitHub Issues Template |
| [10:50:52] | <mstenta[m]> | (mostly just removing Drupal-specific namespace prefixes) |
| [10:51:18] | <mstenta[m]> | (and making it possible to add movements, inventory, group membership, and quantity meassurements to logs via API) |
| [10:52:22] | <slarmour[m]> | I'll draft some use-cases and the testing script to go with them and send it to you both to have a look at |
| [10:53:22] | <jgaehring[m]> | thanks again! that would be huge! |
| [10:54:49] | <slarmour[m]> | no problem. Will try to work on this tonight. |
